Local music scene at the international conference PIN in Skopje and the LIFT festival in Zagreb

Domestic music scene, supported by the platform Serbia creates musicwill be presented at the 11th edition of the international music conference i showcase of the PIN festivalwhich will be held from November 28 to 30 in Skopje. In addition, this year’s winners of the music competition Serbia Creates: The Spotlight will perform on November 29 at LIFT festival in Zagreb.

In the framework showcase program of the PIN festivalwill perform five performers from SerbiaLuka Rajić, Antarctica, Sonas and DJ Killo Killo ali i this year’s “spotlighters” Bishop Loka. The goal of their participation is the international representation of the domestic music industry and securing potential performances at European festivals and clubs.

U conference part of the festival, 25 delegates from Serbia will participate in more than 10 panels dedicated to current topics from the music industry. In addition to the panel, the Serbian delegation has the opportunity to establish new business contacts and cooperation with representatives of the international music industry through networking programs.

Musical duo Antarcticwill perform in Thursday, November 28, at 9:15 p.m. on the MKC Club stage. Their music is a fusion of eclectic, experimental and enchanting mini symphonies, imbued with dreamy instrumentals, warm rhythms and rich melodies.

Eclectic band it sounds will perform on the same day, in 22:00 of Cinema bini MKC-a. This band combines a progressive electro sound with a groovy rhythm section and catchy melodic vocals. Their songs are multilingual, combining modern and ancient musical elements.

Known for his energetic solo project, DJ Killo Killo will perform from 00:25 and Kitchen Disco seeds. In addition to his career in the opera choir of the Serbian National Theater, Killo Killo sings along to roots-reggae, ragga riddims and drum’n’bass, using his own poetry and sometimes adding oriental tones to existing melodies.

One of the most promising pop singer-songwriters on the regional scene, Luka Rajićwill perform in Thursday, November 29, at 9:45 PM in the MKC Dancing Hall. Live with the band, he will perform songs from his debut album “Children of the New Millennium”, and at the beginning of next year Luka will also perform at Eurosonic Noorderslag 2025 (ESNS 2025), the most important European music conference and showcase festival, where he will represent Serbia.

Bishop LokaContest winners Serbia Creates: The Spotlighta ten-member band Bishop Lokawill perform in Saturday, November 30, at 10:15 p.m. in Frosina Hall of MKC. Their music combines furious rhythms, live performance and electronic forms, drawing on a wealth of musical styles such as rock’n’roll, afrobeat, funk and hip hop.

At the second edition of the LIFT festival, this Friday, November 29, the “spotlighters” Zhiva, Rosi and Iva Lorens will perform in Zagreb’s Tvornica kulture.

Alt pop singer-songwriter Iva Pažin Zhiva will present new songs from the upcoming album, with which they will debut in front of the Zagreb audience. Just before the performance, Zhiva said, “I am very much looking forward to this performance because it will be my first time to present myself to the audience in Zagreb. For that occasion, we also prepared three new songs from the upcoming album, so I’m even more nervous.”

One of the most sought-after names in the trap scene, a rising star, Rosesays “See you at LIFT! Every day is like Friday!”.
