Londoners have started writing glowing reviews of restaurant chain Angus Steakhouse in a bid to protect their own favorite eateries from being overrun by tourists.

Rice and eggs fly around on the pans in the small kitchen. The chef, with purple hair half hidden under a red hat, shows with a big smile and equally big gestures how he creates the Japanese dish Omura (an omelet on top of a pile of fried rice).
There are countless videos on YouTube showing the chef in action. One of the videos has been viewed a whopping 52 million times. And it was these videos that caused tourists to make a pilgrimage to the small restaurant Kichi Kichi in the Japanese city of Kyoto, which led to long queues out on the street.
