Looted weapons and ammunition recovered from police station in Chittagong

RAB-7 recovered 6 firearms and 3 rounds of ammunition along with looted weapons from Chittagong District Police Station.

On Monday (September 30), RAB sources confirmed the matter and said that the weapons were recovered in a raid on Baraiparartek Banglabazar Road area of ​​Dakshin Barkal Union under Chandanish police station of Chittagong district on Sunday.

According to RAB-7 sources, intelligence surveillance continues to recover looted arms, ammunition and equipment from various police stations of Chittagong district. At the same time, aware citizens are urged to help by providing information about the looted arms and ammunition.

On September 29, on the basis of secret information that a suspicious sack was lying in the bush next to Baraiparartek Banglabazar Road of South Barkal Union under Chandanish Thana of Chittagong district, the said sack was recovered with the help of local residents.

Later, after searching the sack, it was possible to recover 1 Chinese rifle without butt, three knot three rifle without butt, 1 air gun with wooden butt, domestically made single barrel gun-3 and 3 rounds.

According to RAB, the recovered arms and ammunition have been handed over to the police of Chandnaish police station in Chittagong district.
