Lotte Well Foods (formerly Lotte Confectionery) will open a pop-up store (temporary store) by webtoon writer Kim Toesa, ‘Retirement Delicious,’ operated by webtoon artist Toesa Kim on The Center Street, the 6th floor of HDC I-Park Mall, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, until the 5th of next month. It was announced on the 29th that it would participate in ‘Good House’. Kim Toesa is a highly popular office webtoon author who humorously describes the lives of office workers from the 25 to 35 generation, who ‘says he is leaving the company with his mouth but his body steadily heads to the company.’

This collaboration was designed to communicate with consumers by comparing the cooling sensation of the taste of sleepy gum to ‘the refreshing taste of retirement that can be felt through the mouth.’ In particular, it aims to target office workers by expressing in a fun way that chewing when you need to concentrate during work, such as during a long meeting or working overtime, can effectively ward off drowsiness.

Sleepy Gum is offering free tastings at this pop-up store. Products are placed at the checkout counter of a pop-up store with the concept of an article restaurant, providing the experience of eating candy provided for dessert after finishing a meal at an actual restaurant.
