The Theory 1 Concept is the new Lotus prototype that stands out for its design, but also for the fact that it is a three-seater, with the driver sitting in the center.
The prototype is powered by two electric motors that deliver 1,000 horsepower and allow it to do 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 320 km/h. Its battery has a capacity of 70 kWh offering a range of 402 kilometers per charge.
It has a carbon tub, the body is made of carbon, with the weight of the prototype not exceeding 1,600 kg. Although Lotus doesn’t mention it in its press release, the Theory 1 Concept shows us what the Esprit’s electric successor will look like.
