Louis Vuitton launches its first “cinematic” perfume advertising campaign with two Oscar-winning stars: actress Emma Stone, who is the face of the brand, and director Sam Mendes.
The dynamic short film recapitulates the moments and emotions of a woman’s life journey and reflects the spirit of travel and passion – one of the main values of the Louis Vuitton brand. The changing background evokes the contrasting characters of the exceptional fragrances from the Louis Vuitton perfume collection.

Film and fragrance at the same time
The movie will have premiered on September 13, 2018 – will be launched on the market on the same day the scent of Attrape-Rêvesthe ninth perfume in the collection Louis Vuitton Perfumesin which energetically expressive and sensual tones meet.
There is a first time for everything
Not only is this Louis Vuitton’s first advertising film for its perfumes, but it is also its first collaboration with the renowned
British director Sam Mendeswhich will be assisted by Hoyte Van Hoytema as chief cinematographer. Mendes welcomed the opportunity to work with Emma Stone, whom he already had the honor of directing on Broadway in the revival version of the musical Cabaret.

Sam Mendes
