Louis Vuitton launches a campaign for a new generation of smart “connected” watches Horizon Drum. The campaign takes the form of a short film featuring interesting personalities from four different areas: Sophie Turner, Justin Theroux, Urassaya Sperbund
a Liu Haoran.
The film is conceived like a journey to the outside world and to the inner self. Dreams of distant horizons and daring expeditions, life lived to the fullest, every minute enjoyed to the maximum frame meetings with interesting people and with oneself. In a short film for the new Tambour Horizon smartwatch, the “landscape of time” is shaped into an omnipresent circle. A shape abundant in nature and architecture, the circle evokes the passage of time as well as the design of the watch; and symbolizes the relationship that all living things have to their own world .
Fleeting moments from lifecaptured gestures and looksimages evoking dreams and at the same time values of the Louis Vuitton brand and the Tambour Horizon smartwatch. While the watch plays the main role, the film also features four Louis Vuitton friends and fans – Sophie Turner, Justin Theroux, Urassaya Sperbund and Liu Haoran – chosen by the brand for their achievements in life.
Justin Theroux is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer in television, theater and film. He became famous for his role in the film Mullholand Drive directed by David Lynch. He recently starred in the critically acclaimed HBO series The Leftovers, starring in three episodes. Created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, the series won a Peabody Award in 2016. Theroux’s other films include The Spy Who Kicked Me, Maniac, On The Basis of Sex, Mute, Charlie’s Angels, Girl on the Train, ‘s Angels, Girl on the Train, Romy and Michele. Theroux is also one of the creators of Iron Man 2, Zoolander 1 & 2 and Tropical Storm.
British actress Sophie Turner is best known to the public as Sansa Stark on the hugely popular Game of Thrones, which has won numerous awards including Golden Globes, SAGs and EMMYs, and whose eighth and final season will premiere this spring. Sophie went on to star in other feature films including X-Men Apocalypse, and this year she will re-appear as Jean Gray in the X-Men sequel Dark Phoenix.
Urassaya Sperbund (nicknamed Yaya) was born to a Norwegian father and a Thai mother, and became a model while still in high school. Her modeling career led her to acting. Yaya has played several main characters in popular Thai TV series.
Herec Liu Haoran appeared on the screen for the first time when he was 17 years old. Today, he is the recipient of several Chinese film awards and is increasingly involved in charity projects. Thanks to this, he became an example for the younger generation of Chinese.
Another famous face to appear in the film is Lia Kebede. After conquering the world as a model, this Ethiopian by origin embarked on the path of actress and philanthropist. It represents a whole range of humanitarian projects and cooperates in particular with the World Health Organization.
