The Louis Vuitton brand is gearing up for fall and winter 2019. This time, they’ve taken footwear to the fore. For this autumn/winter collection, the brand reached for inspiration in the classic men’s and women’s wardrobe. A classic adapted to current trends.
The trends this year are in favor of shoes without a higher heel in a retro-futuristic touch. The massive look of ankle boots with thick soles, biker boots and hybrid ballet flats, this is the Louis Vuitton collection for this autumn and winter.
Ankle boots with a platform
The tone of the entire seasonal collection is set by its flagship model, which is a platform ankle boot with a strong “tractor” sole. The casual and soft ankle boots, which look robust and “tough”, are decorated with white lacing, on which you can see the traditional craftsmanship know-how of the brand.
V moto style
Biker boots are back – this season in the form of ankle boots and boots that represent a rebellious rocker alternative. The ultra-low heel shoes are available in electric blue leather, in a two-tone leather version with a “woven” effect, but of course also in the timeless black classic and in a Monogram canvas version.
On a sporty note
First introduced at the Spring/Summer 2019 show and quickly becoming an icon among Louis Vuitton footwear models, the Archlight sports shoes have been donned in the Center Pompidou’s signature colors for fall and winter – the classic tricolor that pays homage to the architecture of this landmark Parisian building. but they are also offered in a tweed version, which resonates with the ready-to-wear wheel models.
