The brand is presenting for the first time ever Louis Vuitton
limited a collection fully dedicated to skiing. The collection offers a complete wardrobe that you will appreciate on the slopes and in the mountain hut. It is adapted to a variety of day and evening occasions: it includes limited edition clothing, accessories, footwear and, of course, skis.
Whether on the slopes or on a walk, the prim sports a style that goes hand in hand with excellent technical properties. All models are decorated with the brand new Flocon logo in the shape of a snowflake, designed especially for this collection.
The design emphasizes comfort, which is in harmony with impeccable style and technical details. The collection includes fluffy down jackets with a print of alpine landscape at dusk, which you can combine with matching nylon leggings and pullovers.
Comfortable parks
You will enjoy your moments in the fresh air in double-sided wool and silk parkas. The pieces dedicated to skiing – jackets, trousers with pockets and classic trousers – are made of stretch material and are completely waterproof.
Parkas have hoods with a lining for maximum comfort, rope straps or carabiners, inspired by mountaineers. The models do not lack protective inner cuffs and practical pockets, the lower parts of the trousers are equipped with a zipper. We also find many technical details on them, thanks to which you can fully enjoy the magic of snow, even at the highest speed.
Monogram details
Of course, details in the form of the popular Monogram cannot be missing: for example on a fleece vest, the lining of a leather jacket or on the hood of a fluffy jacket made of ECONYL® material. ECONYL® is a unique recyclable material, made from 100% recycled nylon fibers. It is thus in perfect harmony with the cyclical creative approach of the Louis Vuitton brand.
Practical sweatshirts
The collection is completed by sweatshirts – classic and zipped – mini dresses, patterned knitted models, sweaters and soft fur coats. Simply all essential pieces for winter in the mountains. For all day and evening activities in the winter resort, ski pants made of technical jersey and sweatpants made of shiny atlas are suitable.
Add-ons make sure of that
Accessories cannot be missing either – fox mittens and gloves, Monogram patterned woolen caps, worsted silk and cashmere scarves and hats in a wide variety of colors. You can wrap the scarf in XXL size with a distinctive Monogram pattern around your neck several times.
Footwear for winter and snow The collection also offers many models of footwear that you will appreciate after skiing. TERRITORY high boots are inspired by wellies and available in two different heights. Crafted from attractive Gommato leather, they feature a ridged sole and are adorned with a metallic buckle and rubber Vuitton label. POLAR ankle boots made of nylon with a lining or Gommato leather are wedge-shaped and are perfect for a walk in Gstaad or Courchevel, for example.
And skis!
We must not forget the skis in an innovative design, which are an integral part of the new collection. It belongs to a limited numbered edition of only 200 pieces. The skis have a wooden core covered with aluminum alloy and the iconic Monogram pattern. They are inspired by a trip to Courchevel and will make an equally stylish impression on and off the slopes. The basis of the design is a print of alpine peaks, which also appears on some textile pieces. The upper part is decorated with the new LV Flocon pattern.
Newly developed ski boots
To complete this unique set, highly innovative ski boots have been developed in collaboration with the expert in the field, the Tecnica brand. You can choose one of two color shades. Both variants are decorated with Monogram relief in gradient colors and Monogram canvas straps. The shoes are equipped with a heating system, powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, which can be controlled via Bluetooth. They have a pleasant Merino wool filling.
The collection is on sale in Louis Vuitton boutiques from November 26, 2021.
