The Tambour collection was created in 2002. It was a watch premiere for the Louis Vuitton brand. A lot of water has passed since then, and various versions for both men and women have been released. And they all have the hallmarks of the Tambour range.

Today, the Tambour watch is literally an icon, and fifteen years after its creation, there is now a new version in the world that does not deny the blood of its family: the Tambour Moon.

This new element of the Tambour watch is true to the aesthetic style behind the success of the original Tambour range: a stunningly rounded case that evokes the shape of a drum. The circle does not interfere with the legs, which maintain a perfect shape. There are twelve Louis Vuitton letters engraved around the perimeter and the original shape of the case, which expands downwards, so it sits very comfortably on the wrist.

The designers of the brand played with the overall shape, and the Tambour Moon watch thus received a unique curved profile that resembles a crescent moon. The concave line creates an ingenious play of light and shadow over the entire surface of the watch case.

The Tambour Moon watch presents its feminine side with the Moon Star model, which is offered in polished steel in several diameter and function variants. The model with a case with a diameter of 28 mm is equipped with a dial with two central hands – hour and minute hands, and a small seconds hand at the six o’clock position. The Monogram Flower metallic rose gold element rotates once every sixty seconds.

The Monogram Flower is not just a decoration, but the central element of this watch – the seal of femininity in the Louis Vuitton watch range. The 35mm and 39.5mm case models have a chronograph. All three models are fitted with a quartz movement and are available with a black or silver dial, as well as a luxury version with diamond-set legs and a mother-of-pearl dial with diamond hour markers.

The Tambour Moon GMT is the embodiment of one of Louis Vuitton’s most popular themes: travel. That’s why the GMT complication is central to this watch. A new elegant tool for the modern traveler is hidden in a 42.5 mm diameter case, which is available in matte steel or a combination of matte steel and rose gold. The watch is powered by a self-winding caliber. There is a choice of a matte sandblasted black or silver dial with a spoked matte GMT complication scale.

The “rice” pattern in the middle evokes the Damier Graphite material. The Tambour Moon Chronograph is a complication you will use every day. This exclusive yet simple system allows watch owners to easily and quickly change their watch band at virtually any time, without the need for any tools. Simple, light and durable, the patented system was developed in the development department of the Louis Vuitton brand. It is a patented system made of a composite material with a high carbon content, which is close to titanium in its properties.
