The German offshoot of the successful dating show “Love is Blind” will start on Netflix in early January 2025. A happily married couple of presenters accompanies the singles from the blind dates to the wedding.
“Love is Blind” is coming to Germany soon. As Netflix has now announced, “Love is Blind: Germany” starts on January 3, 2025. The US original already has 7 seasons, and there are other international offshoots from Sweden, Mexico and Japan.
The German dating show will be moderated by Steffi Brungs (RTL celebrity expert) and Chris Wackert (Sat.1 Breakfast Television). The two moderators are also a couple in their private lives and are married. This puts them one step ahead of the candidates from “Love is Blind: Germany”.
Brungs and Wackert will host “Love is Blind: Germany” on Netflix from January 3, 2025
The aim of the successful dating show is for the couples to get married. But first the 30 men and women go on literal blind dates. In so-called pods, the candidates get to know each other over ten days just through conversations. This is intended to create a real connection, without any visual influences.
The lovebirds will only be allowed to see each other if and when they get engaged. In the best case scenario, “Love is Blind” accompanies couples from the first date through a dream trip and the family reunion all the way to the altar. But, how could it be otherwise, there are a few stones along the way and the final yes word is not always certain.
Is love really blind? From January 3, 2025, the candidates of “Love is Blind: Germany” will find out on Netflix.
