In the fourth episode of Temptation Island 2024Gaia and Luca’s journey accelerates. Gaia appears ever closer to the single Jakub, a relationship that arouses her partner’s jealousy. “It wouldn’t be the same without you. You’re everything I’d like to keep even on the outside.”, she admits, “Because you listen to me and welcome me, it’s nice. It’s strange to think that I’ve found a person like that”. Luca is jealous and has a hard time containing himself in front of the video seen on the pinnettu. At a certain point Gaia asks Jakub if he would leave the program with her, a question that annoys Luca: “I make her look like shit. I left a thousand women alone for her”.
Gaia admits: “Luca? I don’t see him in my future anymore”
Gaia begins to talk to Jakub about her life outside: “I want a child by 28, marriage by 30. Then two degrees. What am I missing? A man who is a bit of a head of the family. When they asked me if I see Luca in my future, I said no. I can’t start a family based on this situation”. Luca comes out of the pinnettu and seems to have made a decision: “I want to go home. You can leave the program with him. I’m tired of being her clown. Up until the day before I came in here, she told me I was perfect, the man of her life and the father of her children. At 32, I went to live with her and her grandmother. Who would do that? She’s gone stupid. She told me she could never handle letting someone else put his hands on her. Do I have to sit here and wait for her to fall in love?”.
Luca’s sleepless night in the village, then the request for the bonfire
Luca is upset and spends a sleepless night. The next morning he confirms to the production his desire to leave the program and ask for a bonfire of comparison. However, he has developed an awareness: “If I get into a new relationship, I don’t intend to cheat anymore.”. Filippo Bisciglia enters the couple’s village to ask Luca if he is sure about asking for the early bonfire and, after having obtained the man’s yes, he reaches Gaia to tell her. She is doubtful: “He didn’t let go. I’ll get out of here and he’ll continue to cheat on me like crazy”. Luca reaches the beach to wait for Gaia and understand whether or not she has accepted the final bonfire but the episode ends. We will only find out next week if Gaia has decided to join him and thus conclude their journey that began on the show.
