To prevent the spread of lumpy skin, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs dispatched an initial quarantine team and an epidemiological investigation team to the farm in question to control the entry of outsiders, livestock, and vehicles into the farm. In addition to the epidemiological investigation, we plan to cull infected cattle on the farm in accordance with emergency action guidelines (SOP).
A temporary stop movement order was issued for 24 hours from 6 PM on the 25th to 6 PM on the 26th for workers and vehicles at livestock-related facilities such as cattle farms, slaughterhouses, and feed factories in Dong-gu, and Dong-gu and six adjacent cities and counties (Gyeongsan, Yeongcheon) ·We plan to intensively disinfect cattle farms and surrounding roads located in Gunwi, Chilgok, Suseong-gu, and Buk-gu.
