Magyar’s new scandal may also raise the suspicion of a crime

The scandal surrounding the contracts of the Student Loan Center led by Péter Magyar keeps ringing. Kehi’s report a few years ago also drew attention to this. That report contained serious findings, the details of which were leaked to the press on Tuesday.

Among the findings of Kehi’s 2021 investigation were multiple overpriced contracts, bogus orders and requests for proposals, winners that could be enveloped from the start. The police have been investigating suspected embezzlement since February.

The report revealed that the supplier of Diákhitel Zrt. at the time was PlanB Magyarország Kft., which the Media1 he wrote that the company employee at that time was Péter Magyar’s younger brother. Márton Magyar received a salary from PlanB. The Tisza Party admitted this, they wrote to Média1 that the company employed Márton Magyar as a project manager for about six months and received a salary of HUF 300,000 per month.

At the time, he also announced news about his workplace on social media. The situation was so uncomfortable for Péter Magyar that the post was deleted, but screenshots prove what happened.

As Kehi’s investigation revealed, PlanB was paid handsomely, a study compiled from content mostly available on the Internet cost one hundred thousand forints per page, and a total of four million was paid for it, and a presentation consisting of 18 slides cost Hungarians 4.4 million.
