MAKA Motors Product Line is Ready to Become PLN’s Operational Fleet

DAPURPACUID – Ahead of the launch of its first product, MAKA Motors is carrying out a strategic collaboration with PT PLN (Persero) as an ecosystem initiative in the energy and electrification sector.

This collaboration is an initiative to build an ecosystem in the field of sustainable energy and electrification and is part of the Connext Powered by PLN program.

In this collaboration, MAKA Motors plans to provide the first model which will later be launched as an operational fleet for Technical Service Officers (Yantek).

The availability of the Maka product line is in order to support the high mobility of Yantek personnel, so they need motorbikes that are tough, agile and comfortable to use in various Indonesian road conditions.

To optimize support for electric motorbikes by field officers, MAKA Motors also provides fast charging station facilities which have been built at several PLN office locations.

CEO of MAKA Motors, Raditya Wibowo said, this collaboration is important and is a significant step for the electric motorbike industry in Indonesia.

“We are very enthusiastic about being able to support PLN by providing operational motorbikes for Yantek officers and fast charging stations,” he said in an official broadcast.

“We hope that this strategic collaboration can continue, so that it will have more positive impacts on all parties, especially our electric motorbike industry,” added Raditya.

The President Director of PT PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo, said the same thing, who said that this collaboration was very important to support PLN’s transformation as a more innovative and adaptive energy company.

According to Darmawan, PLN wants to become the center of the energy startup ecosystem in Indonesia. This collaboration is not only for PLN, it is also to encourage business growth, markets and new opportunities for all partners.

“This is PLN’s real commitment to encouraging economic growth, creating jobs, alleviating poverty, while preserving the environment,” he concluded. (dpid/TH)
