Manuela Arcuri is proud of hers “principe”. The actress and her 10-year-old son Mattia are the costumed protagonists of the 100th Grape and Wine Festival in Marinowhich attracts around 30 thousand visitors every year. The 47-year-old becomes Duchess Maria Felice Orsiniwife of Marcantonio Colonna. The baby she had with her husband Giovanni Di Gianfrancesco on 8 May 2014 wears, like her mother, the costume, and transforms into a delightful little page boy.

Mattia holds the sign on which it is written in his hands “Maria Felice Orsini, wife of Marcantonio II Colonna”. On the street he precedes her and plays the role to perfection. Manuela, with a solemn air, accompanied by her court, she is going to Piazza Matteotti to meet her husband Marcantonio Colonna, played by her colleague Simone Montedoro. The legendary meeting between the two is recalled after the famous battle of Lepanto from which the nobleman returned victorious.

Every detail is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Arcuri happily accepted to be at the event with her little son. Just before taking to the streets, during the laborious preparation, he looks out of the window and photographs the hundreds of thousands of people crowded in the street. “They are waiting for us! What a thrill”he writes in his stories.

Then the performance begins and everything goes smoothly. Manuela smiles enthusiastically: she and Mattia shared an important and unforgettable moment together.
