Rumors and leaks surrounding Nvidia’s upcoming Geforce RTX 5000 series have been circulating for a while now. Now the company Sinotex has applied for trademark protection for the upcoming graphics cards, reports Videocardz.
In the filing, the company lists not only the RTX 50 models, but also Ti and Super versions of some cards. Among other things, Ti and Super versions of the RTX 5090 are mentioned, which its counterpart in the RTX 40 series did not get. However, it is not clear whether these versions will be launched or whether Sinotex is seeking protection in preparation for a possible launch in the future.
The filing also lists the RTX 6000 series, although any details about this series will have to wait for the future. However, it is important to take Sinotex’s application with a grain of salt, according to Videocardz. None of the listed RTX 5000 cards have been officially confirmed by Nvidia. Additionally, the RTX 4090 Super and Ti are listed in the filing, models that have never been launched.
Nvidia is expected to unveil the RTX 5000 series during the CES show in January.
