Many would have liked Andrei Vlad to destroy Gigi Becali, after leaving FCSB. The honest reaction of the goalkeeper about the boss who launched him in big football, but who also abolished him on countless occasions

Andrei Vlad ended his 7-year adventure at FCSB and, although many would have expected him to put Gigi Becali on the wall now for the constant criticism he brought to him over time, the goalkeeper had a totally unexpected reaction.

The goalkeeper wanted to thank the FCSB boss for his trust all this time and reveals that without his help he would perhaps never have reached this level in football.

Andrei Vlad, reaction about Gigi Becali after leaving FCSB. No one would have expected that

Andrei Vlad left FCSB after 7 years and even though many would have expected him to destroy Gigi Becali for the constant criticism he has brought to him in recent years, the goalkeeper had a completely unexpected reaction.

The goalkeeper wanted to fully thank the boss from FCSB for, paradoxically, the trust given all this time and reveals that without his help he would perhaps never have reached such a level in football.

Vlad admits that he often had difficulty handling the apostrophes of his now former boss, but he is of the opinion that those criticisms turned him into a much stronger and more mature person at the same time.

“I can’t help but thank him for all the trust he had in me, he propelled me into big football and had an extraordinary trust in me. He knows that I appreciate him, even if at certain moments the things he said about me didn’t agree with me or I didn’t like them, but all these things made me much better and much stronger.

(no: How did you handle criticism?) It’s not easy, especially since I was with the most loved team in Romania. And those moments are difficult, only when you get over these moments you realize that you become a much more mature and much stronger person”, said Andrei Vlad, according to as.ro.

Andrei Vlad dreams of being the owner of Petrolul

The goalkeeper did not stay long without commitment and signed with Petrolul Ploiești, team where he was wanted by the new coach Adrian Mutu. Andrei Vlad hopes to take his place as starter between the sticks of Lucas Zima, transferred in his place at FCSB.

“From Bucharest, 25 players boarded the plane, four others, Linner, Roche, Jyry and Ricardinho, to meet their teammates directly in Antalya.

Also, in the evening, goalkeeper Andrei Vlad, who closed his accounts with FCSB at the beginning of 2025 and will join the oil team, is also expected to arrive at the hotel in Lara”, Petrolul announced.
