DAPURPACUID – Marc Marquez again won a double podium in the MotoGP continuation series which took place at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit, Japan, last weekend (5-6/10).
Even though he had to start the race from 9th position, The Baby Alien showed his best performance again in that round by winning three podiums in both the Sprint Race and Main Race sessions of the 2024 Japanese MotoGP.
Thanks to Marc’s podium achievement with the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team, PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (EMLI) with the Federal Oil brand line again expressed its appreciation.
Market Development General Manager of PT EMLI, Rommy Averdy, said he was proud of Marc Marquez’s double podium at the Motegi Circuit last weekend.
According to him, the eight-time World Champion managed to show his best performance with the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 and competed with the factory team to finish in third position.
“This result is inseparable from collaboration and full trust between the racer and the team, making it more comfortable to always provide the best results,” explained Rommy.
Federal Oil, he continued, will also consistently provide support to the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team until the end of the season, and hopes that Marc and Alex’s double podium can be realized again in the remaining races of the 2024 season.

After winning the trophy on the podium, Marc said that he had started the race well. In general it was a good opening lap and kind of a boring race.
Marc assessed that with the lack of overtaking between riders, he had to stay focused and also make mistakes that could cost him the podium.
“However, everything went well, now it’s time to take a short break and recharge for the next tripleheader,” he said.
On the other hand, it was a shame that Alex didn’t finish because he slipped in a corner when the race had only started a few laps.
He made a mistake at Turn 11 which caused him to leave the track and when he tried to return to his original position he collided with Joan Mir, which caused an accident.
“Our motorbikes collided with each other and I apologized to him for what happened. “Now we have to recover before Australia,” said Alex further.
Regarding the points obtained in the 2024 MotoGP standings, Marc is still in fourth position with 311 points. Meanwhile, Alex is now in 12th position with 124 points.
The next race week is the Australian MotoGP, which will be the second triple header on October 18-20, at the Phillip Island Circuit, Australia. Continues in Thailand and Malaysia.
