The President of the Republic promulgated this Tuesday the diploma that establishes the regime for recovering frozen service time for teachers, announced the Presidency of the Republic.
“The President of the Republic has promulgated the diploma that establishes a special regime for recovering service time for kindergarten teachers and primary and secondary school teachers”, announces the website of the Presidency of the Portuguese Republic.
The recovery of service time frozen for teachers during the ‘Troika’ was one of the main reasons for the protests and strikes that took place at the end of the previous Government, with the current government team having reached an agreement with the majority of the sector’s unions for a phased recovery of the time still owed.
