The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) placed the districts of Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Coimbra, Faro, Leiria, Lisbon, Porto, Setúbal and Viana do Castelo under yellow warning until 6pm, due to the forecast of sea unrest with southwest waves measuring 4 to 5 meters, becoming northwest waves.
For this Thursday, forecasts point to generally very cloudy skies, temporarily decreasing in cloudiness during the afternoon in the Center region and showers, more frequent in regions north of the Mondego River.
The wind is expected to be weak to moderate from the southwest, sometimes blowing strongly in the highlands until early in the morning.
Forecasts also point to fog or fog, mainly until the end of the morning and at the end of the day and a small increase in the maximum temperature in the interior.
Maximum temperatures will range between 11ºC, in Guarda, and 19ºC, in Leiria and Faro, and minimum temperatures between 4ºC, in Guarda, and 14ºC, in Aveiro.
