Marshall’s new wireless headphones promise improved ANC

Lovers of good sound must have a fairly substantial budget to equip themselves: soundbar, speaker, headphones or earphones are essential for them. The British company Marshall doesn’t really have to worry since it covers all these areas and is one of the biggest names in the industry.

Marshall stood out at the start of the school year (and even a few days before) with its new Auracast compatible Emberton III and Willen II speakers. The manufacturer returns to the forefront to present its new Monitor III headphones with active noise reduction designed in collaboration with American singer Billie Joe Armstrong.

Marshall’s Monitor III, wireless headphones with improved active noise reduction

The Monitor III, this is the name of the new headphones unveiled by Marshall. Unsurprisingly, this is a more advanced version of the Monitor II released in 2020. The product was designed in partnership with Billie Joe Armstrong, leader of the group Green Day.

The Monitor III stands out for its improved active noise reduction compared to the previous version. The new Adaptive Sound Volume feature continuously measures ambient noise to ensure your surroundings don’t interfere with listening.

Furthermore, Dynamic Loudness technology can adjust treble, midrange and bass optimally. « We have completely revisited its acoustic design to improve its performance at all levels: sound, ANC (active noise reduction), transparency and voice calls », assures Nicolas Pignier Delafontaine, sound and acoustics engineer.

Note that the Monitor III is also compatible with Auracast, which allows you to broadcast sound via Bluetooth on multiple devices. The wireless headphones also feature a customizable M button to activate your EQ settings. The Marshall Monitor III offers 70 hours of battery life with active noise reduction enabled and 100 hours without ANCwhile charging takes 2.5 hours via USB-C.

The headset shouldn’t weigh you down too much since it can fold up to be stored in its hard case and fit easily into a bag. Moreover, the design does not particularly change compared to the Monitor II. You can buy the Monitor III now for €349.
