Marta Rovira demands that the PSOE make “resounding progress” regarding the Catalan quota to negotiate the 2025 Budget

The general secretary of ERC, Marta Rovirahas demanded this Saturday from the PSOE “resounding advances” in the fulfillment of the agreement between both on financing, as a condition for the Republicans to participate in the negotiation of the General State Budget (PGE) of 2025.

“It will be practically impossible for us to enter into any dialogue or negotiation of budgets for 2025 if we do not see resounding advances“If we do not see effective compliance, if we do not see that the agreement that we collectively approved is complied with with great enthusiasm,” he declared at the start of the ERC National Council at the party’s headquarters.

He has argued that the Republicans will be able to “move further as compliance with the pact also advances” so that Catalonia begins to take the first steps towards the economic concert and fiscal sovereigntyhe claimed.

Rovira has recalled that the Republicans have been able to move forward to the extent that the agreements that were on the table with the socialists have been fulfilled, a fact that allowed the investiture of Salvador Illa As President of the Generalitat: “This is what we have done over the last few years with the agreements we had with the PSOE.”

In this way, he has issued a warning to the Socialist Party and has urged them to bear in mind the “close result” that the investiture agreement had in the internal consultation of the party, a fact for which they committed themselves to a, literally, demanding and vigilant yes, he has stressed.
