The Hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Martorell Foundation (FHSJDM) has celebrated the International Day of the TCAI (Nursing Assistant Care Technician), which is commemorated every year on July 14, showing and sharing a collection of images from their day-to-day life.
There are currently 157 auxiliary nursing care technicians at the FHSJDM, representing 22.7% of the workforce. Their role is essential and key within the nursing care team for patient care and teamwork. With their continuous presence, they take care of all patient needs such as feeding, hygiene, elimination and mobility, among others. A job they do with quality, safety, empathy and respect for the patient.
A strong point of his work methodology is proximity, which facilitates the accompaniment and emotional support to be offered, both to sick people and to their relatives and the environment. In this way, the FHSJDM has joined the commemoration of the International Day of TCAI.
