Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will arrive on PC on January 30, 2025as announced by Insomniac Games, and Sony, during the Marvel Games Special Presentation at New York Comic Con. The game, which stars Peter Parker and Miles Morales, will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
The PC conversion of the PS5 exclusive (which you can find on Amazon) was edited by Nixxes Softwarea PlayStation Studios team specialized in this type of operation, in collaboration with Insomniac Games and Marvel Games.
As with other PlayStation Studios games arriving on PC, in this case too a PlayStation Network account is required to play.
Nixxes’ Julian Hujibregts promised that this version will be “full of new improvementsincluding advanced ray tracing options, with the aim of making the most of every type of system and configuration.”
The PC version will include all post-release content at launchsuch as New Game+, over 10 costumes, Ultimate levels and the Fly N Fresh costume pack.
By pre-ordering the game you will get several bonuses, including early unlocking of special costumes for Peter and Miles, the tractor web gadget and extra skill points.
In addition to the Standard Editionone will be available Digital Deluxe Edition which will include:
- The complete game
- 10 exclusive costumes (5 for Peter and 5 for Miles)
- Early unlocks of costumes and gadgets
- Additional skill points
- Extra elements for photo mode
The contents of the Digital Deluxe Edition can also be purchased separately. Those interested can find the game’s page on Steam and Epic Games Store for further information and pre-orders.
This announcement, however, also brings out another very interesting aspect: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 may not receive any DLC to expand the story, strengthening those rumors that a more contained title dedicated to Venom is on the way, as happened with Miles Morales.
