Massive Israeli attack on Beirut already has 29 victims, authorities report - World

The death toll from a massive Israeli strike on Saturday morning in the densely populated Basta district in central Beirut has risen to at least 29 dead, with another 67 injured. According to the AFP agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced this, which in the previous report on Saturday evening spoke of 20 dead.

In today’s report, the ministry also stated that a total of 84 people were killed in Israeli strikes on the entire territory of Lebanon on Saturday, including in the southern suburbs of the capital and in the south and east of the country. The total number of victims of the conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah movement in Lebanon since last October has risen to 3,754 dead and 15,626 injured.
