Matches of the 6th stage of League 2, season 2024-2025

The 6th stage of Ligue 2, of the 2024-2025 regular season, which resumes the competition after the first break taken for the actions of the national teams, has seven games scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024, all scheduled to start from 11:00 . They play in Bucharest (Steaua), Drobeta Turnu Severin, Piatra Neamț, Câmpulung Muscel, Dumbrăvița, Afumați and Buzău (Metalul).

It can be seen that AFC Campulung Muscel will now perform for the first time really on home groundin the municipality he represents, after in the previous two games played at home, against FC Bihor (2-1) and CSM Slatina (0-5), he was the host at the base of FRF in Buftea. At the same time, the fact that Viitorul Pandurii continues to play “at home” at Drobeta Turnu Severin, not at Târgu Jiu.

  • Among the 14 teams that will enter the field on Saturday, we find two that are undefeated in the first five stages: CSM Slatina and Steaua. There are still two undefeated teams in the championship, FK Miercurea Ciuc, which is also the only one with the maximum score, and ACSM Reșita.

The 6th stage started already on Thursday evening, in Craiova, where FCU passed Unirea Ungheni without problems, with the score of 2-0. Following this success, FCU Craiova has climbed, at the moment, to the qualifying places in the play-offon 4, tied with CSM Slatina and ACSM Reșita, which remain above it, due to the superior goal difference. Instead, Ungheniul remains with two points obtained in five matches and is the only team without a goal scored so far.

The meeting between FC Voluntari and Chindia Târgoviște is scheduled for Sunday (11:00 a.m.), on Monday the Champions FC Argeș – Concordia Chiajna (4:00 p.m.) takes place, and the round ends on Tuesday, after ACSM Reșița – FK Miercurea Ciuc (5:00 p.m. 00).

CSM Slatina wanted to broadcast the game, even if it is playing away, as it usually does when it is not televised, and the host does not broadcast the game. The people of Olten, like Steaua, were hit by the refusal of those from Metalul Buzău. Inexplicable attitude from the leaders of Metal, which shows again how small this club is and the fact that it has nothing to look for at this level of football, which drags down its image. Shame on Metal Buzau!
At CSM Slatina, Andreas Mihaiu appears on the reserve bench, brought up by Dinamo and last time at Gloria Buzău, with whom he was promoted to the first league this summer.
