On Sunday, November 24, 2024, Max Verstappen (27 years old) finished 5th in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, a result that allowed him to win his fourth consecutive world title in Formula 1.
The success achieved by the famous Dutch pilot was also possible thanks to Lando Norris (25), the Briton from the McLaren team, who was the only one able to “steal” the title from him. Norris finished the Las Vegas Grand Prix just behind Verstappen in 6th.
The 2024 Formula 1 season is over: Max Verstappen, champion for the 4th time in a row!
Max Verstappen continues to establish himself among the all-time elite of Formula 1, and on Sunday 24 November 2024 he took another step in this direction, after capturing his 4th consecutive world championship title.
The famous Dutch Red Bull Racing driver finished 5th in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, but this ranking was enough for him to mathematically secure a new title. And that’s because Lando Norris, from the McLaren camp, who was the only one able to overtake him in points in the general classification, finished in 6th position in the race in the United States of America.
So, 27-year-old Max Verstappen reached 4 titles in a row in Formula 1, joining a list of only 5 drivers who have achieved this feat: Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher, Juan Manuel Fangio and Sebastian Vettel.
On the other hand, in terms of titles won, Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher lead the top, with 7 triumphs each, while Juan Manuel Fangio was champion 5 times. Instead, 4 titles, like Max Verstappen, were also won by Alain Prost and Sebastien Vettel.
