Maxus is a brand of the Chinese giant SAIC Motors, of which MG is also a part. In the Netherlands, it sells electric vans eDeliver3, eDeliver7. eDeliver9 and the yet to be launched eDeliver5. In addition, it has an electric pick-up on the menu in the form of the T90 EV. The T90 EV is an electric variant of the T90 with combustion engines, which is not available in the Netherlands. Maxus Motors is also interested in a pick-up that was developed as an EV. It is now available: the Maxus eTerron9. The four-wheel drive Maxus eTerron9 has no less than 443 hp and with that power should be able to reach a speed of 100 km/h from a standstill in just 5.8 seconds. From its unexplained battery pack, the electric pick-up with double cabin squeezes a WLTP range of 430 kilometers. It can tow up to 3,500 kilos and has a payload of 800 kilos. The rear wall of the cabin can be folded away, making it just that little bit easier to transport extra long items. Also handy: the eTerron9 has a large frunk in which you can store 236 liters of stuff. If you opt for the top version Premium, you will get air suspension, among other things. Maxus promises an extensive package of active and passive safety systems and mounts two digital 12.3-inch displays in the cockpit. Extensive technical specifications and Dutch prices will follow soon. The Maxus eTerron9 will be launched in the Netherlands this year.
