DAPURPACUID – The Daihatsu Gathering of Friends series of events throughout this year has entered the final city, namely Medan City, North Sumatra, which was held on Sunday (10/11).
Held at Medan’s Banteng Field, the event will take place from 06:30 to 18:00 WIB. Medan City residents can participate in the event for free, while enjoying weekend entertainment with their families.
Marketing Director and Corporate Communication Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Sri Agung Handayani, appreciated the high enthusiasm of the public for the Daihatsu Gumpul Sahabat event.
“Medan City is the 7th city, as well as the closing series of the 2024 Gathering of Friends series of events,” said Sri Agung, in his official broadcast Friday (8/11).
“We hope that this event can be a means of strengthening relations between Daihatsu, loyal customers and the community, as well as providing a means of recreational weekend entertainment for the residents of Medan and the surrounding area,” he added.
As in the previous city, various interesting event programs are ready to be presented to the people of Medan City and enjoyed without any charge.
The event items offered include group Zumba exercise, a variety of culinary delights served by local MSMEs, blood donations, posyandu, mobile driver’s license services, safety driving seminars and the opportunity to win millions of rupiah in door prizes.
The entire series of events will close with entertainment presented by local bands, as well as a performance from the NIDJI Band who will sing all their best hits.
There are also various competitions with attractive prizes, ranging from coloring competitions, got talent singing, band competitions and photo & video social media reviews.
There were also a number of car communities who showed off their best vehicles through modification exhibitions not only for one model but also across models, so that they could become an attractive magnet for Daihatsu car owners.
Also on the agenda is a parade or rolling thunder from members of the Daihatsu car community and the two-wheeled community as the opening of the 2024 Daihatsu Gathering Friends Medan event.
The event continued with Zumba together which started at 07:00 until finished, which was located at Lapangan Banteng. No less interesting is the presence of local MSMEs.
Daihatsu presents MSME tenants, food trucks and a luggage bazaar which offers a variety of culinary delights and other interesting creative products.
Daihatsu also cares about public health which is realized by providing blood donation facilities in collaboration with PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) in Medan.
Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) facilities are also available. This program is part of one of the pillars of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) social responsibility commitment, namely Healthy Together with Daihatsu.
Visitors can also enjoy mobile SIM services to make it easier for people to renew their driving license, in collaboration with the Medan Police.
Daihatsu also did not forget to give appreciation to customers using Xenia who have consistently looked after and cared for their vehicles from the start of ownership until now, through a program entitled Xetia With Xenia.
