MediaMarkt opened its new store in İskenderun with a sales area of 1,819 square meters, which it implemented with the concept of ‘Look and Feel’. Employing a total of 28 people, 14 of whom are women, MediaMarkt increased the total number of stores in Turkey to 99 with the new store.
Following the opening on July 25, the experience areas and promotional products in the store attracted great interest from visitors, while the diversity of the state-of-the-art product range was met with admiration.
MediaMarkt Turkey CEO Hulusi Acar said the following about the new store opening: “We are extremely pleased to bring consumers in Turkey together with MediaMarkt’s unique shopping experience and the interest they show in our stores. In this context, we continue to invest what we earn in Turkey in Turkey and take steps to increase the number of our stores and employment, especially women’s employment. We aim to increase our total number of stores to over 100 by opening new stores in different cities by the end of 2024. With each of our new stores, we offer our consumers a wide and spacious area, the opportunity to experience and examine the products in full detail, and a rich product range with the latest technology, thus offering them the pleasure of comfortable shopping. In this sense, we are fulfilling our Experience Championship claim and ensuring that our customers leave our stores satisfied. We will continue this success with our new stores in the coming period.”
