New video from the glamorous New Year’s Eve party organized by US President-elect Donald Trump was uploaded to social media by his son, Donald Jr., who attended his father’s home in Mar-a-Lago with his new partner.
In it, Trump is seen dancing to the YMCA song, in his own signature style, for which it has now gone viral. Next to him, striking in her black gown, stands his wife Melania, who seems to be slowly following the rhythm of the music. In fact, at one point she seems to want to touch her husband on the back, however at the last moment… she regrets it and continues her dance.

The glamorous event was attended by the closest relatives and friends of the US president-elect, many supporters of the MAGA movement and officials of the incoming government.
Speaking to reporters from the “red carpet”, accompanied by his wife Melania, Trump said that “a light has shone over the whole world” since he was elected and appeared extremely optimistic about 2025. When asked what he expected for the new year, he said it will be a great year and that he thinks the US will “do fantastically as a country” and regain the respect of the planet.

He then spoke about the hard work that has been done in the transition period ahead of the inauguration in a few weeks. “I think a lot of progress has been made in the last five weeks. It’s really impressive if you look at what has happened,” he said.

Trump expressed his belief that his recent victory over Kamala Harris has “revitalized” not only the US, but the entire world. “There are a lot of happy people,” he said. Regarding his New Year’s resolutions, he graciously replied that all he wants is “for everyone to be happy, healthy and well.”
After entering the venue, the president-elect gave a short speech on stage and later in the evening was presented with an award for his overall contribution.
Trump was surrounded throughout the night by friends and family, including his son Donald Jr. and his new partner, Bettina Anderson, in their most public appearance yet. The Republican joined the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” to his son, who turned 47 on Tuesday.
Of course, Trump’s close associate Elon Musk, who arrived at the event with his son X and his mother May, could not be missing from the revival. Musk carried his son on his shoulders in front of reporters.

The elected vice president J. D. Vance with his wife Usa, longtime Trump associate Roger Stone and attorney Alina Haba walked the red carpet before Trump’s arrival.
Eric Trump and his sister Tiffany were also there with their partners, former RNC chair Lara Trump – who sang Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” – and Michael Boulos.
It is recalled that Tiffany announced her first pregnancy last October.
Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples also walked the red carpet.
Melania Trump appeared at the event in an elegant black dress. Asked by a reporter about her goals for the new year, the former and future first lady replied: “We all know what we want… world peace.”
Melania was also photographed with Paolo Zamboli, her former modeling agent, who had introduced her to Trump.
Violinists dressed in black and seated on pedestals greeted guests as they entered the lavish Florida venue. They played tracks like ‘Jolene’, ‘Kashmir’ by Led Zeppelin and ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Journey.
Trump has been organizing this particular New Year’s Eve event for years. According to the Palm Beach Post, up to 300 guests were expected this year.
The statements about Biden and the reporter’s annoying question
Trump briefly spoke to reporters waiting on the red carpet about various topics, such as on rumors that President Joe Biden thinks he could beat him. “I wish him the best,” Trump said, but recalled Biden’s low popularity in the polls and his failure in the Georgia debate. “He had his chance in the debate and it didn’t go very well,” Trump said, with Melania by his side.
He also confirmed that he will attend Jimmy Carter’s funeral, but did not comment on whether he has spoken with the late president’s family.
The mood turned less pleasant when Trump was asked about H-1B visas, an issue that has divided his supporters in recent days. The Republican denied changing his position after siding with Trump on immigration. “I haven’t changed my position,” Trump said. “I’ve always believed that we should have the most capable people in our country… We need smart people, we need a lot of people to come. We will have jobs like never before.”
However, when a reporter insisted that this position was different from what he had been saying in the past, Trump ignored him and eventually responded about Carter’s funeral.
