His company Meta so she just came up with her own AI generator Movie Gen. Just type it in text prompt and you will wait until 16 seconds long videowhich is also fully synchronized with the sound.

In addition to creating your own videos, Movie Gen will also offer editing of existing ones, again based on a text command. But it will not be a complete change, but rather a light editing – AI will help with a better one by choosing a style, smoothing transitions or minor adjustments. Movie Gen can thus become a great tool for short video creators, influencers or simply for everyone who likes to experiment with AI.

It should also be possible to add your own to the video audio track up to 45 seconds long – be it your own commentary or music. Movie Gen itself offers to add sound effects, background music or classic soundtracks.

In the future, Movie Gen should be able to create videos also based on a picture prompti.e. a series of any photos. And Meta advises that it should be possible to create a video, for example, based on a profile photo from Facebook or Instagram.

Currently, Movie Gen is not freely available, and Meta has not even offered it to developers for testing, as is customary with such tools. Instead, he intends a video generator integrate directly into your applications and social networks. It could thus be freely available to users of Facebook or, for example, Messenger in the future.
