Romania is preparing for a real meteorological carousel in the next two weeks. Meteorologists announce in the forecast for the period June 22 – August 4 a short break from the excessive heat, followed by the return of the heat wave.
In Banat, during the first two days of the week, the weather will be warm, in limited areas it will be hot in the plains, with an average daily temperature of 33…34 degrees. The expected cooling for the interval July 24 – 26 will bring average daily temperatures around 28 degrees.
At the end of July the weather will become warm, locally hot during the afternoons with maximum temperatures, on average between 33 and 35 degrees, and at the beginning of August there will be values around 32 degrees. The minimum temperatures will be around 18 degrees until July 24 but also around July 30, and in the rest of the interval, their average will be 15…16 degrees. The probability of showers and lightning will be higher during July 24-26 and after August 2.
CRIŞANA
During the first two days of the week, the weather will be hot, isolated heat wave in the plain area in the south of the region, with an average daily temperature of 32…33 degrees. The temperature drop will be significant during July 24-26, when the daily average of maximum temperatures will be 26…27 degrees. At the end of July the weather will become warm again, locally hot during the afternoons with maximum temperatures, on average between 32 and 34 degrees, and at the beginning of August there will be values around 31 degrees.
The minimum temperatures will be around 18 degrees until July 24 but also around July 30, and in the rest of the interval, their average will be 15…16 degrees. The probability of showers and lightning will be higher between July 24th and 26th, but will also increase after August 2nd.
TRANSYLVANIA
In the first two days of the interval, the average maximum temperatures will be around 30 degrees, then it will drop significantly, and on the 25th and 26th of July when it will reach values of 24 degrees.
A gradual warming process will follow, so that on July 29, the regional average of maximum temperatures will be 32 degrees, and for the end of July and the beginning of August values are generally estimated at 28…29 degrees. Daily average minimum temperatures will be 16 degrees in the early days of the range and around 14 degrees in the rest of the range. Atmospheric instability will be temporarily accentuated between July 22 and 27, but rains on more extensive areas will be on July 24, 25 and 26, when the amounts of water will also be significant. The chance of rain will also increase after August 1.
MARAMUREŞ
In the first two days of the interval, the average maximum temperatures will be 30…31 degrees, then it will drop significantly, and on July 25 and 26, when values of 25 degrees will be reached. A gradual warming process will follow, so that on the 28th and 29th of July, the regional average of the maximum temperatures will be 31 degrees, and for the end of July and the beginning of August values in general of 28…30 degrees are estimated .
The daily average of the minimum temperatures will be 16…17 degrees in the first days of the interval and around 15 degrees in the rest of the interval. Atmospheric instability will be temporarily accentuated between July 22 and 27, but rains on more extensive areas will be on July 24 and 25, when the amounts of water will also be significant. The chance of rain will also increase after August 1.
MOLDOVA
The regional average of maximum temperatures will show significant variations in the first week, so from 30…32 degrees in the first days it will reach 26 degrees on the 25th and 26th of July, then it will return to 32 degrees on the 28th and July 29. At the end of July and beginning of August, maximum temperatures around 29 degrees are estimated.
The average minimum temperatures will be 16…18 degrees, with the highest values in the first 3 days of the interval and on July 29 and 30. There will be rains over relatively extensive areas on July 25 and 26, when the amounts of water can also be significant. The probability of rains will also increase after August 2.
DOBROGEA
During the first three days of the week, the weather will be hot, locally hot in the continental area of the region, with an average daily temperature of 32…34 degrees. On July 25 and 26, the daytime thermal values will decrease, to an average for the entire region of 28 degrees, but on July 28 and 29, it will return to an average of 33…34 degrees.
At the end of July and the beginning of August, daytime temperatures will be around 32 degrees, still characterizing warm weather. Thermal minimums will continue to characterize tropical nights in most of the range, with average values of 20…22 degrees. Rains are forecast between July 25 and 27, and in the rest of the interval the rainfall regime will remain deficient.
MUNTENIA
During the first three days of the week, the weather will be hot, locally hot in the plain area, with an average daily temperature around 33 degrees. On July 25 and 26, daytime temperatures will drop to an average across the region of 27…28 degrees, but on July 28 and 29 it will return to an average of 33…34 degrees. At the end of July and the beginning of August, daytime temperatures will be around 32 degrees, still characterizing warm weather.
The thermal minimums will continue to characterize tropical nights (around 20 degrees) between July 22 and 24, then their average will decrease and oscillate between 16 and 18 degrees. The thermal minimums will continue to characterize tropical nights (average of 19…20 degrees) between July 22 and 24, then their average will decrease and be between 16 and 18 degrees.

IN THE MOUNTAINS
The regional average of maximum temperatures will show significant variations in the first week, so from 20…22 degrees in the first days it will reach 16 degrees on the 25th and 26th of July, then it will return to 22 degrees on the 28th and July 29. At the end of July and beginning of August, maximum temperatures around 19 degrees are expected.
Average minimum temperatures will be between 10 and 13 degrees, with the highest values in the first 3 days of the interval and on July 29 and 30. Atmospheric instability will be temporarily accentuated between July 22 and 27, but rains on more extensive areas will be on July 24, 25 and 26, when the amounts of water will also be significant. The chance of rain will also increase after August 1.
