Meteo.lt reports that we will receive mixed precipitation on Tuesday. In many districts, lijundra, bare tree will form. The most favorable conditions for lijundra will be in the southern and eastern parts of the country.
Lijundra will start to form already tonight, around 10 pm. The thunderstorm will spread to many areas of the country on Tuesday morning and during the day. Meteorologists warn drivers and pedestrians to be especially careful.
Sleet is a type of precipitation and one of the forms of icing, when droplets of light rain, mist or fog, falling on a frozen surface, suddenly turn into ice. Lijundra, depending on the size of the drops, the intensity and duration of rain or fog, forms a layer of ice of various structures on the surface of buildings, tree branches, wires, roads and sidewalks.
