It is Greenland itself that will decide its own future. This is what Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) and chairman of Naalakkersuisut Múte B. Egede (IA) agreed at a joint press conference.
“When it comes to the question of independence, I would like to state that in our eyes it is a decision that starts and ends in Nuuk and in Greenland. Greenland belongs to the Greenlanders, no one else,” says Mette Frederiksen.
