Metz Portable TV: you can easily take this portable battery-powered smart TV to the garden or the beach – Image and sound – Science and technology

The TV has a diagonal of 24 inches, uses the Google TV platform, lasts up to three hours on battery and has a built-in soundbar.

The ultra-light smart TV weighs only 4 kg.

The German TV brand Metz introduced one of the lightest portable Google TVs in the world – Metz Portable TV 24MPE7000Z with a diagonal of 24 inches (64 cm) to the Slovak market. It has wi-fi, is equipped with a battery that can last up to three hours, and of course it can also be powered from an outlet. It won a Red Dot award for its design.

The ultra-light smart TV with an interesting design weighs only 4 kg and has dimensions of 36.6 × 54.9 × 7.4 cm (H x W x D). Thanks to DVB-T2/S2/C technology, it can also receive terrestrial broadcasting wherever it is available. It also has a handle for easy portability.

It uses a triangular design with a wide base for better stability. It has a LED display with full HD resolution, a refresh rate of 50/60 Hz and support for HDR10 and HLG formats for a high-quality image.

It is also equipped with Matte Screen technology, thanks to which the image is clear even in direct daylight and at the same time reduces glare. In addition, the TV uses Trochilus Extreme Picture Quality Engine technology to fine-tune the image, eliminate noise and increase contrast. The display is also equipped with Flicker Free (eliminates screen flickering) and Low Blue Light (reduces blue light emission) functions, both of which reduce eye fatigue. The display is complemented by an integrated soundbar with Dolby Audio technology.

Since it is Google TV, it runs on Android and offers all the possibilities of this platform, including the use of streaming services and easy sharing of content from a smartphone or tablet. HDMI and USB-C connectors are used for this, but there is also bluetooth, LAN and voice control.

The portable METZ Portable TV 24MPE7000Z is also available in Slovakia, its price is slightly below the threshold of 350 euros.
