Michael Jordan gives himself a Pininfarina Battista that is unique in the world

That Michael Jordan we have known for some time that he is a great car enthusiast. His collection includes some of the most exclusive Ferraris of all time, such as the Daytona SP3, the 812 Competizione and the J50.

The former Chicago Bulls star recently added to his list of “Italian horses”. Pininfarina Battistathe 1,903 HP electric hyper-GT. Again, Jordan was not trivial, commissioning the House a one-off called “Targamerica” and first seen last August at Monterey Car Week.

The tribute to the Lawyer

Pininfarina itself made the announcement of the special delivery on its social channels. In the post published on Facebook, the moment in which Michael Jordan (the best NBA player ever) receives the keys to his new jewel, personalized in every aspect, is immortalized.

The Targamerica stands out for the absence of a roof and recalls the style Ferrari Testarossa Spiderthe famous V12 created specifically for Gianni Agnelli.

This intervention does not alter the original lines of the Battista, despite having required significant structural adjustments to maintain the performance of the standard Battista. The car takes up the colors of the Testarossa Spider, with a bodywork in Liquid Silver enriched by details in Iconica Blu, present above all in the lower part.

The active rear wing also maintains the style of the original version, but with a new twist: the lower side is finished by hand in Iconica Blu, an exclusive for this model.

There is also a cigar compartment

The level of customization of the Pininfarina was defined in close collaboration with the owner.

On the Battista we find five-spoke alloy wheels inspired by Agnelli’s Testarossa, equipped with triangular holes near the hub, which put Pininfarina engineers to the test to ensure safety.

Another new detail is the cigar compartment between the seats, complete with humidifier and variable lighting depending on the driving mode.

For the rest, the Battista Targamerica maintains the electric powertrain with four motors of 1,903 HP and 2,340 Nm, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.86 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 350 km/h.

The price? It hasn’t been communicated, but it’s certainly more than the 3.2 million euros needed to put a “basic” Battista in the garage.
