Michelin Releases Two Tires for Sport Touring and Daily Commuting

Two new Michelin products for the two-wheeled line were officially launched at an event entitled Grip Cities with Power

DAPURPACUID – Michelin Indonesia released two new tires, namely Michelin Power 6 and Michelin City Grip 2. Both tires were officially launched on October 6 2024 at Midaz Senayan Golf, Jakarta.

Apart from showcasing the two newest tires, product knowledge presentations, and a talk show with KOL, the launch event entitled Grip Cities with Power also featured a series of superior Michelin products, such as Michelin Anakee Adventure, Michelin Enduro, Michelin Road 6, Michelin Pilot Street 2, Michelin City Extra , and Michelin Pilot MotoGP.

“Michelin’s commitment to always providing innovation in creating an extraordinary driving experience has spurred our enthusiasm to launch the Michelin Power 6 and Michelin City Grip 2 as part of our steps in completing our product offerings in the Indonesian market,” said President Director of Michelin Indonesia, Ichayut Kanittasoontorn , at the launch event.

“We designed the Michelin Power 6 specifically for sport touring fans, while the Michelin City Grip 2 is for daily use in the city. “Both have the advantage of driving long distances with innovations in extraordinary grip, thus providing more control and comfort on any road surface, both dry and wet,” said Ichayut.

Michelin Power 6 has several advantages, including:

  2. The shark tooth groove design promotes excellent grip on wet or slippery surfaces, including when crossing the white lines of road markings.
