Office of Education holds a committee on educational authority to decide whether to punish
(Ulsan = Newsis) Reporter Gumi-hyeon = (email protected) Reporter Gumi-hyeon = A report was received that a middle school student in Ulsan secretly filmed a teacher’s body with a cell phone, and the police and education authorities began to investigate the truth.
According to the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education and the Ulsan Police Agency on the 27th, A, a third-year student at a middle school in Ulsan, is being investigated by the police on charges of secretly filming Teacher B’s body inside the school last month.
It is known that Mr. A encouraged his classmates to take photos of the thief and also shared the photos.
It was found that Boy A shared the voyeurized photos with several of his classmates. It is reported that students who saw the photo did not know at first that it was a photo of a teacher. After finding out that the photo was of a teacher, he considered reporting it, but he hesitated to report it for fear of retaliation from Student A, who was always threatening and had a history of school violence.
In the end, the two students who were worried reported it to the school on the 1st, and then all the students who saw the photo reported it to the school.
During the school’s own investigation, circumstances were also revealed that Group A attempted to voyeurize an unspecified number of women at a fast food restaurant and Ulsan Grand Park before voyeurizing a teacher. The scale of damage is known to be five people, including the homeroom teacher, and one of the victim teachers filed a complaint against Group A to the police on the 1st.
After receiving the report, the police confiscated A’s cell phone and PC and began forensics. The police plan to investigate additional victims and who the voyeur photos were shared with as soon as the forensic results are released.
Meanwhile, the school plans to conduct a fact-finding investigation into Mr. A’s case and decide whether and the extent of punishment at a meeting of the Academic Rights Protection Committee on the 27th.
