Princess of Wales Kate Middleton has announced that the course of chemotherapy has ended and progress has been made in the fight against cancer. Although she plans to return to royal duties this fall, she is currently not fully recovered and will continue to prioritize her health and well-being, as well as taking care of her family.
The 42-year-old Middleton has shared a heartfelt video in the media and on the official social network accounts of the royal house, which captures three minutes of scenes from the summer vacation of the royal family – it shows both Kate and her husband Prince William, as well as children George, Charlotte and Louis. In a statement, Middleton said it was hard to find the words to describe how relieved she was to have chemotherapy over, and admitted that the past nine months had been extremely difficult for her family as normal life changed in an instant. The Princess of Wales also expressed her support for others who are fighting cancer, urging them not to give up, but to believe that it is possible to get out of the darkness of ignorance and fear.
