Sony is re-selling some of its high-end PlayStation accessories in the Midnight Black color option. PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Pulse Explore and Pulse Elite are getting ready to meet players with the “galaxy-inspired” Midnight Black versions.
Announcement in the blog post “Each Midnight Black accessory features a unique, rich shade of black with stylish detailing on various buttons and accents, such as the PlayStation logo,” it says. The black design will continue on the DualSense Edge controller’s carrying case, the Pulse Explore headphones’ charging case, and the Pulse Elite headset’s charging strap. However, the Pulse Elite wireless headphones and Pulse Explore wireless headphones will eliminate the dark theme and come with gray carrying cases instead.
The prices of the new Midnight Black themed accessories are as follows:
- PlayStation Portal – Midnight Black: 219,99 avro
- Pulse Explore – Midnight Black: 219,99 avro
- Pulse Elite – Midnight Black: 149,99 avro
- DualSense Edge – Midnight Black: 219,99 avro
Sony had previously released PlayStation 5 accessories in black. In 2021, in addition to the standard DualSense wireless controller, the Pulse 3D wireless headset was also released in the same Midnight Black color. Even PlayStation 5 console cases are available in black to match.
The full range of new Midnight Black PlayStation accessories will be available starting February 20.
