Mihaela Cambei also wanted to thank her family for their support in recent years, but she believes that the merit of her coach was the most important before the Olympic Games that took place in France.
“First of all, I want to thank you for this invitation, for this wonderful award. I am honored to be here. I want to start by thanking God and my family, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. I would like to thank Mr. Valeriu Calancea, coach with whom I reached the Olympic Games. Where he put up with me and took care of me. Together, we managed to return home with an Olympic medal, which we wanted very much. I want to thank the Romanian Weightlifting Federation for all the support it offered us, but also to the club coaches”, said Mihaela Cambei, during ProSport Grand Sports Galas.
“I can’t promise what’s to come from now on, because no one can know that. I learned to win, I learned that failure is part of the process of success. If someone were to ask me what my advice would be for people, it would be that if you want to buy something, without looking at money, then work without looking at time”, he also transmitted change
