And so a few days after his death, his closest friends decided to organize Long live Oliviero! not a simple exhibition but a real party because Toscani taught them a lot, above all to laugh at everything. The appointment is for Sunday 19 January from 11am to 6pm Royal Palacehome to the last major Milanese exhibition in 2022.

A one-day event with the most iconic shots on display, four photo sets to take portraits of the public (in one stage of Human Race), the Otto Colonne room transformed into a cinema, the direct story of those who lived, worked, argued and made peace with Toscani. Some will also be screened inside the Royal Palace documentaries dedicated to the photographer’s career and at 3pm there will be a moment of greeting from the institutions. Furthermore, the portraits taken by students and photographer friends will become part of the archive of Human Racethe great project that has collected over 10,000 images since 2007.
