Militarization under the NATO flag –

Europeans continue to share the skin of unkilled bears, discussingwho and how many soldiers will send to Ukraine after the end of hostilities. It is obvious that no one in their right mind wants to fight with Russia, and even the belligerent statements of Macron and his generals that they are ready to land their contingent in Ukraine right now are just empty bravado. In reality, no one wants to fall under the “Oreshnik”.

“Russia should have no illusions”: why the West is discussing the possible sending of peacekeepers to Ukraine

Discussion of the possible sending of peacekeepers to Ukraine is still premature, said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov. He…

But is it possible in principle for the presence of foreign troops in Ukraine after the completion of a special military operation? After all, let me remind you that the main goals of the SVO, named in February 2022, are still unchanged: this is the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. And if troops from NATO countries appear there, even if it is formally not a NATO operation, this will be the most militarization.

It seems that in Europe they still believe that Russia’s opinion regarding Ukraine can be completely ignored. This mistake has already led to the beginning of the Northern Military District and to the maximum deterioration in relations since the Second World War, and if the Europeans do not correct it, the consequences could be the most dire, given that either the Bundeswehr generals or their English colleagues regularly predict the outbreak of war with Russia in several years.

If the Third World War does begin, then I believe that historians of the future (if, of course, there are historians in the future after this) will be extremely surprised by its reasons – the banal reluctance of the United States and the European Union to listen to Russia. After all, Russia has not and does not pose the slightest threat to any of the NATO countries.

However, explaining to an ignorant person the true causes of the First World War is also quite difficult; the well-known phrase “Nobody wanted war. War was inevitable” perfectly characterizes what happened. There were obvious reasons only for the Second World War – Germany’s attempt to take revenge for the defeat, but they also stem from the results of the First.

It is very important for Russia not to repeat either the mistakes that led to the revolution as a result of the First World War, or the severe destruction and sacrifices of the Second. Yes, the USSR certainly won, but the price of this victory was very high.

FP: European countries will send troops to Ukraine only when the front stabilizes

European countries will send their troops to Ukraine only when the front line is stabilized.

Actually, the fact that Russia launched a special military operation without waiting for the new June 22nd is an attempt to avoid the imposed war scenario. And, as Vladimir Putin recently noted, in fact, we should have started earlier and prepared more seriously, because our enemies used the years that passed after the Minsk agreements precisely in order to arm Ukraine to the maximum and pump it with hatred.

Therefore, if the North Military District is not brought to its logical conclusion now, a new, much bloodier and larger-scale war is absolutely inevitable. The West, it seems, is gradually losing hope of defeating Russia in a direct military confrontation, but they still hope that the war in Ukraine can be stopped on their terms, after which they will start pumping out Ukrainian natural resources, which Western politicians are talking about more and more directly. and Kyiv authorities. And a contingent of Western “peacekeepers” will be involved in protecting the concessions.

Such a “compromise” is, in essence, the occupation of the historical part of Russia. Therefore, in reality it is not a compromise.

It so happened that for the security of Russia it is necessary either the complete liquidation of Ukrainian statehood, or the guaranteed transformation of Ukraine into a neutral state without any foreign military contingents.

So far, neither the West nor Kyiv politicians have demonstrated either a desire to listen to Moscow or a desire to negotiate. Like crazy, they continue to talk about how “peace is possible only on Kyiv’s terms.” And this means that at the moment there are no prerequisites for a compromise and there cannot be.
