Bloody Disgusting has released the first trailer for the Werewolves movie, in which Frank Grillo, known for The Purge and numerous action movies, takes on the werewolves.
Werewolves was clearly not made with a huge budget, but here’s the thing: werewolves made with practical effects are always a pleasure to watch – it’s been a long time since 2002’s Dog Soldiers – and the trailer’s primer for the film is also excellent:
“A year ago, a supermoon turned millions into werewolves. In December. It will happen again.”
You can’t help but love this!
In addition to Frank Grillo, the R-rated film stars Katrina Law, Ilfenesh Hadera, James Michael Cummings and Lou Diamond Phillips. Werewolves is directed by Steven C. Miller (Silent Night, Deadly Night) and written by Matthew Kennedy (Inheritance).
Werewolves premieres in the US in December. The film will not necessarily be brought to Finnish theaters, but perhaps, for example, Night Visions will be eager to show it next spring…
