The electric MINI Aceman will also make its debut in the sporty JCW version (John Cooper Works) at the upcoming fair in Paris.
The official promotion will take place on October 14, but the first images and basic technical details of the MINI Aceman JCW are already upon us, courtesy of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
So, the Aceman JCW has an electric motor with 258 hp, which should allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than seven seconds.
Range for the Aceman JCW has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to have the same 54.2 kWh battery found in the Aceman SE, which offers a range of up to 405 km. The same applies to the maximum charging speed of 90 kW, which enables charging from 10 to 80 percent in less than half an hour.
In terms of design, the Aceman JCW gets a sportier look thanks to new bumpers, a rear diffuser, a rear roof spoiler and distinctive 19-inch alloy wheels. There’s also John Cooper Works badging, as well as modified suspension and brakes.
Part of the package includes, among other things, a 9.4-inch OLED circular display, Mini Operating System 9, the intelligent personal assistant Spike, eight Mini Experience modes that change the interior environment (Personal, Go-Kart, Vivid, Core, Green, Timeless, Balance and Trail), ambient lighting, panoramic glass roof, 12 ultrasonic sensors and four Surround View cameras, as well as the Driving Assistant Plus and Remote Parking systems.
