Minio Studio, the integrated strategic creative agency, launches a bold initiative – Black Friday la Idei. Inspired by the discount season, the agency brings to light creative projects that have been left in the drawer – whether they were proposed in pitches, proactively developed or thought of as options for clients but never implemented. Now these concepts are available to interested brands to be adapted and customized to suit them perfectly.
Minio’s new initiative offers access to over 20 creative projects, covering areas such as brand communication, trade marketing and employer branding. All these campaigns are available on a website with similar functionality to an online store. Brands can explore ideas, see details and, as a creative punch, change the colors of visuals. Afterwards, the Minio team will customize the chosen campaign to suit the specifics of each business.
“It’s a novel approach, which started from an insight we all know – agencies generate many more ideas than those that end up being implemented. Often we have 2-3 options on a campaign, we have work from pitches to which we never get a response. That’s an awful lot of valuable, but unused, work. For Black Friday, we thought we’d change that and bring these ideas to the fore in an accessible and adaptable format.
We don’t know if anyone has tested such an initiative before, but we assume the role of pioneers. Maybe it will work great or maybe it won’t. It is an opportunity to explore less conventional solutions and test what impact they can have. Customers enter the site, on minio.ro/blackfriday. It’s just like a regular online store, except that at the end there is no payment. After choosing their desired concept, customers have a consultation session with the Minio team to assess whether the idea is suitable and how it can be customized. This stage ensures perfect compatibility between the concept and the client’s brand.
A step towards the future
The initiative marks a stage of maturity for Minio Studio, which is approaching 9 years of activity. The agency aims to innovate and explore approaches that defy the traditional norms of the communication industry.
