MinisForum AtomMan G7 Pt: Brutal Mini PC

This is the first AMD Advantage certified mini desktop on the market.

The top model of MinisForum’s AtomMan sub-brand for gamers has arrived, the G7 Pt, which was the first in this segment to receive the AMD Advantage certificate. Of course, this means a completely AMD-based platform, i.e. a small computer with a magnetic base and a case with hidden power cabling, with some RGB lighting on the side, for a Ryzen processor (to be exact, the 7950HX) and Radeon graphics (including the RX 7600M XT) and utilizes Smart Access Memory and SmartShift technologies.

According to the manufacturer’s claim, the Cold Wave Ultra cooling system, capable of dissipating 205 watts of heat, uses four fans, a total of nine heat pipes and liquid metal paste, and separately takes care of keeping the RAM and SSD cool, and does all this with a maximum noise level of 45 dB. 96 GB of memory can be installed in the machine, and there are two slots for NVMe SSDs, one of which is PCIe 5.0 x4. The G7 Pt manages three monitors at the same time via an HDMI 2.1, a DisplayPort 2.0 and a Type-C interface with DP-Alt mode. In addition, a total of four USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors, an additional USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C on the front, several 3.5 mm jacks (both combo and separate line-out and mic in), as well as a 2.5GbE network port got a place in the house. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are available for wireless connectivity. The AtomMan G7 Pt is available for pre-order now, starting at $1,000.
