Minister Bolat’s assessment of the manufacturing sector

TRADE Minister Ömer Bolat announced that the Turkish manufacturing sector export climate index rose to 51.3.

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, in his statement on his social media account, said, “Thanks to the policies we implement as the government and the Ministry of Trade and the steps we take together with the business world, our export climate continues to strengthen. According to the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Turkey Manufacturing Sector Export Climate Index data, the positive momentum in exports that has continued for 8 months rose to 51.3 in August. Our full support will continue to be provided to our manufacturers, agriculturalists, exporters, and service providers who continue to strengthen their economic activities in the main export markets, as it has been until today. The increase in our exports and the targets we have set continue to strengthen in line with Turkey’s global targets. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our exporters.”
